Configure missed-call text-back
Use supported missed-call events to send fast SMS follow-up where the deployment supports it.
Before making production changes: exact screen names and platform behavior can change as GoHighLevel, Android, carriers, and the underlying messaging platform evolve. Test changes on a controlled deployment first.
Use case
A caller who cannot reach the business can receive a short text acknowledging the missed call and offering a simple next step.
Setup checklist
- Confirm the deployment supports the missed-call event you intend to use.
- Write a short, branded reply.
- Test from a phone you control.
- Verify the message comes from the expected number and does not create a loop.
Keep expectations clear
Missed-call text-back is not a replacement for the client's full voice/telephony system unless the deployment has been specifically designed that way.
