Carrier rules and deliverability
Understand why mobile carrier policy still matters even when ASG does not charge per message.
Before making production changes: exact screen names and platform behavior can change as GoHighLevel, Android, carriers, and the underlying messaging platform evolve. Test changes on a controlled deployment first.
Carrier service is separate
Your SIM/mobile plan is provided by the wireless carrier, not ASG. The carrier can impose business-use, automated-use, volume, spam, and fair-use restrictions.
If delivery drops
- Reduce volume.
- Review opt-outs/complaints.
- Test a normal manual SMS from the phone.
- Review the carrier account for restrictions.
- Check recent campaign content and list source.
Avoid absolute promises
Do not promise a client “unlimited SMS” or guaranteed deliverability. Sell predictable ASG platform pricing, then manage carrier usage responsibly.
Still not working? Contact ASG with the device name, carrier, GHL location, approximate timestamp, and the exact step that failed.
