Opt-out-rate protection and campaign health
Respond to rising opt-outs before a campaign damages number reputation or carrier access.
Before making production changes: exact screen names and platform behavior can change as GoHighLevel, Android, carriers, and the underlying messaging platform evolve. Test changes on a controlled deployment first.
Treat opt-outs as feedback
A spike usually means something is wrong with consent, targeting, frequency, message relevance, or recipient expectations.
If sending pauses
- Stop and review the campaign.
- Check where the list came from and how consent was obtained.
- Review copy and frequency.
- Remove questionable recipients.
- Resume only after you understand the cause and the platform/carrier allows it.
Do not try to evade safeguards
Rotating numbers or devices to continue the same problematic campaign can worsen carrier risk and violates responsible-use expectations.
Still not working? Contact ASG with the device name, carrier, GHL location, approximate timestamp, and the exact step that failed.
