Device naming and health checks

Create a repeatable operating routine once your agency manages several gateway phones.

Before making production changes: exact screen names and platform behavior can change as GoHighLevel, Android, carriers, and the underlying messaging platform evolve. Test changes on a controlled deployment first.

Naming standard

Use ASG-CLIENTNAME-01 or another consistent convention. Record device owner, number, SIM/carrier, physical location, GHL location, and deployment date.

Routine health check

  1. Device online.
  2. Power/charging stable.
  3. Wi-Fi/mobile data available.
  4. Carrier service active.
  5. Outbound test available if needed.
  6. Inbound replies routing correctly.
  7. No unusual opt-out or delivery issue.

Scale with documentation

The difference between 3 gateways and 30 gateways is operational discipline. Treat the phones as infrastructure, not loose personal devices.

Still not working? Contact ASG with the device name, carrier, GHL location, approximate timestamp, and the exact step that failed.
